O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2021 and consequently issue patta in respect of the property situated at Thelungupatti-Perumthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli District, bearing Natham Old Survey No.245/1 and New Survey No.527/1, measuring a total extent of 1.065 Hectares to the petitioner within the time to be prescribed by this Court.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner along with one R.Rangaraju and one R.Rajeeshwari jointly purchased the land comprised in Old Survey No.245/1 and New Survey No.527/1, measuring a total extent of 70 cents, from late Mr.Muthusamy, his legal heirs and one Mr.Subramani in the year 1999. Though one of the vendors, namely Mr.Subramani, filed a suit against the petitioners and others in O.S.No. Page No. 2 of 6
148 of 2000 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Kulithalai, the same was dismissed on 18.04.2002. Since the purchase of the said land, the petitioner and the said R.Rangaraju and R.Rajeeshwari were in joint possession thereof. Thereafter, the petitioner and the said R.Rangaraju and R.Rajeeshwari amicably and mutually divided the property among themselves through a registered partition deed dated 09.02.2007.
3. Since the petitioner decided to settle her property in favour of her legal heirs, she submitted a representation to the respondents on 09.09.2021 seeking issuance of patta. As the second respondent did not consider the said representation, the petitioner sent a reminder dated 30.11.2021. Even thereafter, the second respondent failed to consider the same. Hence, the petitioner was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2021 will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.

Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.11.2021 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is also directed to afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing during such enquiry to the petitioner and any other interested parties who may be affected by the decision. In the event of any rival claims, the same may be agitated before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
