The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the operation of buses and other heavy vehicles at the high level bridge constructed across the Kollidam river near Grand Anaicut (Kallanai) at Thanjavur District. 2.

Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader has produced the letter dated 20.09.2024 of the Divisional Engineer(Highways), Thanjavur, stating that the bridge in question has been constructed and traffic has been allowed on the bridge.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
