PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent herein to provide necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her property comprised in T.S.No.820/4 situated on the main road of Metupatti, Dindigul on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 06.07.2015 and also take necessary action against the proposed accused.

This direction petition is filed to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, on the basis of the complaint dated 06.07.2015. 2.The petitioner sought police protection to her life and limb in the year 2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.
