ORDER

The petitioners are accused Nos.1, 3 and 5 in CC.No.205 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur. They have filed this application to quash the proceedings pending against them, on the ground that the issue has been amicably settled among themselves. 2.Considering the above, this Court entertained this petition, ordered notice and also directed the investigation officer to ascertain as to whether the compromise arrived between the parties is a voluntary one, without any threat or coercion. The parties are also present before this court. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) submits that there are four accused in this case, however, accused No.2 is not part of this petition and he is not present.

4.Since accused No.2 has not filed any petition, this court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in CC.No.205 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur on the ground of compromise as 2/4

against the petitioners alone. Therefore, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition by including the accused No.2 also. 01.08.2025 DSK To 1.The Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur.
