PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the learned Sessions Judge and Special Judge for SC/ST Act Cases (PCR), Ramanathapuram to consider the bail application of the Petitioners on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.143 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent herein.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Sessions Judge and Special Judge for SC/ST Act Cases (PCR), Ramanathapuram, to consider the bail application of the Petitioners on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.143 of 2022 on the file of the second Respondent herein.

2. It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners' name does not figure in the FIR. Only to evade from the due process of law, this petition has been filed invoking the provisions of SC/ST Act.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the injured has been discharged from the hospital.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Petitioners are 2/4

directed to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge and Special Judge for SC/ST Act Cases (PCR), Ramanathapuram, within 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
