PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd Respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the Survey No.90, with an extent of 1.5 cents at Door No.1431 EB, Kamatchi Nagar, Paiyur Pillaivayal Group Village, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 14.07.2023.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in S.No. 90, to an extent of 1.5 cents, Kamatchi Nagar, Paiyur Pillaivayal Group village, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering her representation, dated 14.07.2023.

2.According to the petitioner, she has been residing in the subject property for more than 10 years by paying house tax. By virtue of her long possession, the petitioner submitted a representation on 14.07.2023, before the respondents seeking issuance of patta and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 3.The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.07.2023, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. 5.With the above said directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
