[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take immediate action on the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2017 and to direct them to stall the stone quarry operations in Survey Nos.314, 317/3, 317/4, 265/2, 265/3, 265/4, 422/1, 422/2 in Thatahnkottai Village, Dindigul District, owing to the violations in granting license and functioning of the stone quarry by the third respondent.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the lease period for the quarry operations

by the third respondent had already been expired as early as on 20.04.2021 and therefore, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
