ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 498(A) and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act,1882, on the file of the respondent Police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2 According to the de facto complainant, the 1st accused has suppressed the earlier marriage with one Jeyanthi and thereby cheated her. It is further stated that she was harassed by the accused by demanding additional dowry.

3 The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the earlier marriage had already been dissolved by a decree and it was known to the de facto complainant. However, the present complaint is given with an ulterior motive.

4 The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that accused Nos.2 to 4 have already been released on anticipatory bail in Crl.M.P.No.4624 of 2015. 5 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi, and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.
