ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the second respondent to include the petitioner's name in the selection list, dated 10.08.2014 and appoint the petitioner in the post of B.T. Assistant (English) Teacher.
2.The writ petitioner claims that he is fully qualified and eligible for appointment to the post of B.T.Assistant(English). The writ petitioner participated in the process of selection for appointment to the post of B.T.Assistant. However, he was not selected. Thus, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition on the ground that his name must be included in the selection list.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Teachers Recruitment Board made a submission that the writ petitioner undoubtedly participated in the process of selection, however, he was not selected and consequently, no appointment order was issued to the writ petitioner.
4.Mere participation in the process of selection would not confer any right on the writ petitioner and seek for an appointment. Selection and appointments are to be made strictly in accordance with the recruitment rules in force as well as the terms and conditions stipulated at the time of issuance of the recruitment notification. However, the writ petitioner claims that he must be selected and appointed based on his representation. However, the writ petitioner was not selected in the process of selection and that the writ petitioner has not established his case by producing a semblance of evidence, so as to grant the relief as such sought in the present writ petition. 5.In view of the above, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
