This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to file a final report in Crime No.198 of 2022 dated 26.05.2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Respondent submitted that investigation in Crime No.198 of 2022 is almost completed and final report will be filed within two months. Further, he submitted that it is a case and counter.

4.In view of the above submission, the Respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.198 of 2022 and file the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
