Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 06.08.2012, 27.08.2012 and 11.10.2012 which have been sent for revocation of the petitioner's suspension order passed by the respondent vide G.O.(3D)No.57, Highways and Minor Ports (HL1) Department, dated 02.12.2011, within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court. ORDER
The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner for the purpose of revoking the order of suspension.
2.The writ petitioner was placed under suspension in order dated 02.12.2011. The suspension order was issued on account of the fact that a criminal case was registered against the writ petitioner and he was arrested and kept in judicial custody for more than 48 hours.
3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the writ petitioner attained the age of superannuation. Therefore, the authorities competent would have passed fresh order, retaining the services of the writ petitioner with reference to the fundamental rules in force.

respect of the relief as such sought for in the present Writ Petition. However, if any other grievances exist for the writ petitioner, it is left open to him to approach the competent authority for redressal of the same.
5.With these observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
