Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli to expedite the trial and conclude the trial of the Criminal Case in C.C.No. 1070 of 2020 in Crime No.41 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli to complete the trial in C.C.No. 1070 of 2020 in Crime No.41 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that accused has filed quash petition in Crl.O.P(MD).Nos. 2472 and 2528 of 2021 and the same is pending before this Court. It is further submitted that the matter is posted on 10.12.2021 for hearing.

3. Considering the offences involved, without expressing any opinion on merits, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli to dispose of C.C.No.1070 of 2020 pending on its file, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After disposing, the same must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
