Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.2 of 2022, dated 03.06.2021 and to file final report within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.2 of 2022, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 420, 465, 468, 477 & 506(i) IPC on 06.01.2022. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of 8 months, no progress has been made in the investigation.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that the investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court as early as possible. 4.Perusal of CD file shows that investigation has not been taken in speedy way. The official from the respondent police is present before this Court and submitted that the concerned Investigating Officer is on Medical Leave and after resuming his work, it will be completed as early as possible.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) as well as the official from the respondent police, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt 2/4

of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report must be submitted to the Registry. 5.This Criminal Original petition is disposed of, accordingly. 12.09.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No TM To 1.The Inspector of Police, DCB, Karur, Karur District.
