ORDER

The petitioner, claiming to be the owner of the land in S.No. 998/4A2, has filed this writ petition that the respondents are attempted to disturb his physical possession of the above land, sought for a Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from disturbing his possession.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, based on the written instructions, which he has received from the Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Local Planning Authority, submits that the land in S.No.998/4A2 to an extent of 1700 sq. mtrs., Kulavanigarpuram Village, 2/4

Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, was acquired as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.252, Revenue Department, dated 21.02.1984 and the land has already been allotted to the Town and Country Planning Department for establishment of an office for Regional Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Tirunelveli. He further submits that a building has already been established in the said survey number, the same was also inaugurated by the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 11.05.2017 and the office is functioning since then.
