The petitioner is shown as A1 in Crime No.165 of 2015, registered on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kenikarai Police station for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 406, 420, 120(b) and 506(ii) of I.P.C. r/w. Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. To quash the same, this criminal original petition has been filed.

CRL OP(MD). No.18610 of 2015 been filed. Of course, today when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the second respondent. But the joint memo of compromise memo has been signed not only by the second respondent but also his counsel. In view of the same, the impugned FIR stands quashed as a whole and the criminal original petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
