O R D E R
The Contempt Petition has been filed complaining that there has been no compliance of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.20253 of 2021, dated 11.11.2021.
2.By order in the said Writ Petition, the following direction was issued:
"5.A direction is issued to the second respondent, to with the assistance of the third respondent/Village Administrative Officer, Athapadaki Revenue Group, Athapadaki Post, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District to identify the land of the petitioner and thereafter determine whether the petitioner is the assignee of the land, examine revenue records and make necessary entries in the village revenue records. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
3.The central portion of that particular direction was to determine whether the petitioner was the assignee of the land and to examine the revenue records.

4.A report has now been filed by the Tahsildar of Kalaiyarkovil, wherein, it has been stated that one Sekar, son of the petitioner, was the Panchayat President in the year 2005 and using that position, he had assigned the lands in S.No.220/2 in favour of his mother. Further, he had assigned lands in S.Nos.221/1 and 222/2 in favour of his wife, Selvi. More over, further lands had also been enjoyed by the petitioner herein. It had also been stated that the assignment was conditional that agricultural should be done, but agricultural had never been done. 5.It is thus seen that the Writ Petition has been filed suppressing all these facts.
