The detenu had been produced by the respondent Police. She is aged about 20 years according to her, whereas, in the affidavit itself, it has been mentioned her age as 22 years. The Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by her mother.

2. The detenu had married the third respondent. They both belong to the same caste. Therefore, we are confident that any initial differences could be easily addressed. The detenu is studying Nursing Course and we impressed upon her the importance of continuing her education and completing her course. The third respondent is a Painting Contractor. The petitioner had only one grievance namely, that from the family members of the third respondent, phone calls have been made to the petitioner, threatening her.
