ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first and second respondents to preserve the CCTV Footages from the fourth respondent Hospital between 00.00 hours dated 08.06.2024 and 23.59 hours dated 19.07.2024.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 produced a copy of the remand requisition and remand letter passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, wherein the accused has stated that he has submitted a written complaint to the learned Magistrate. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition. 2/4

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the remand order passed by the learned Magistrate, the second respondent is directed to send a request to the fourth respondent to preserve CCTV footages for the period claimed by the petitioner in this petition.

5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
