The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first to third respondents to monitor the fourth and sixth respondents and to provide police protection and permission in the event of 48th Mandala Abishekam to be held on 29.08.2024 to 30.08.2024 to the Goddess Manichanachi Amman situate in Mela Nerkuppai of Mullaimangalam Sekaram of Aydhunilai, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the official respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the complaint of the petitioner 2/4
was forwarded to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai and the same is pending and that two FIRs came to be registered in this regard. 4.Considering the above and also taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakkottai is directed to conduct peace committee meeting by issuing notice to all the parties and take a decision, on or before 22.08.2024. 5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
