ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused No.2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w Section 7(1)(a) (ii) of EC Act 1955, in Cr.No.189 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 17.09.2021, the accused had illegally transported 1750 kg of rice meant for Public Distribution System. Hence, the present complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner had illegally transported 1750 kg of rice meant for Public Distribution System and the petitioner had two previous cases, out of which, one is similar in nature.

5. It is the specific allegation against the petitioner that he had illegally transported 1750 kg of rice meant for Public Distribution System. Moreover, the petitioner has two previous cases and one is similar in nature of the present case as stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side). Therefore, considering the above said facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
