ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.01.2024 for the offences punishable under Section 8(C), 20(b)(ii)(C) and 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in crime No. 63 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein and other accused 1/3

were illegally found in possession of 140 Kgs of Kanja. Hence, the case.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the fact that the case involved recovery of 140kgms of ganja and considering the fact that the petitioner was also found to be in the pilot vehicle watching the movements of the police accompanying the contraband and considering the fact that the CDR details also reveals that the petitioner was in contact with the other accused persons and considering the fact that the petitioner has also got 13 previous cases, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
