PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to regularize the petitioner`s service from 01.07.1997 to March 2022 in the post of Assistant in the 5th respondent`s office as per the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in R.O.C.No. NCLP/20/97 dated 23.05.1997, to fix the equal pay for equal work and to settle the all monetary benefits consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to pay the additonal ex-gratia payment to the petitioner for physically handicapped due to the negligence police gun firing on 07.05.1997. This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to regularize the service of the petitioner from 01.07.1997 to March 2022 in the post of Assistant in the office of the fifth respondent.
2. Prior to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner had given a representation on 29.01.2022 for the same prayer sought for in this writ petition. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has been constrained to file this writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents are willing to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.
4. The respondents have also not filed their counter till date in this writ petition. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2022, referred to supra, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
