ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to secure the custody of his daughter by name, K.Jeyalakshmi, W/o.V.Karuppasamy by causing an effective investigation on the complaint in C.S.R.No.317 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the father of the detenu. The petitioner's daughter got married with one V.karuppasmy, out of their wedlock they blessed with two children. Thereafter, she was missing from the matrimonial home, therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint. On receipt of the same, the second respondent issued C.S.R.No.317 of 2019, but they failed to secure the daughter. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.225 of 2019, as women missing and after completion of investigation, they found https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P.(MD).No.13071 of 2019 that the petitioner's daughter eloped with one J.Karuppasamy, who is the third respondent herein and now they are living at Chennai. 4.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2019 and file a final report before the concerned Magistrate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
