[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to clean and deepen the Kodaikanal Lake, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2017, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent - Municipality submitted that in view of the order dated 25.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.19218 of 2022 and the subsequent announcement of Eco Restoration & Infrastructure Development

Project in Kodaikanal Municipal Lake by the Government, at the cost of Rs. 24.00 Crores, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.

3. Recording the above submission of the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
