This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.9 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today,the learned Additional Public Prosecutor represented that the respondent police have conducted investigation and after investigation since prima facie materials available as against these petitioners they filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai and the same was taken on file in C.C. No.253 of 2022.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners represented that already stay was granted by this Court and despite the same, the respondent police have filed final report.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and no materials available before this Court in respect of final report, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report as well to file contempt 2/4

petition as against the first respondent. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
