The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to fill up the post of Village Assistant in Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the post of Village Assistant had already been filled up and some other person has already been appointed. However, the writ petitioner has to participate in the process of selection, if any notification is issued.
