The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the case of the writ petitioner was considered for promotion and he was promoted. In view of the fact that the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.
