ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a appropriate final report in Crime No.690 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the second accused in Crime No. 690 of 2020, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427 and 506(2) IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is selected for the post of Delhi Police Sub Inspector and awaiting for the posting order to be made after the contest is over.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation has been completed and final report is made ready on 25.01.2021 itself.

4. Since the grievance of the petitioner appears to be genuine, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the official process and file a final report within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.
