PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records comprised in the letter dated 09.10.2013 and numbered 04014/1/2012-salt, passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to frame a transport policy and management of saline lands belonging to the Central Government, keeping in mind the welfare of the numerous salt workers who are involved in the industry.

This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the letter dated 09.10.2013, insofar as it modifies the earlier resolution to only lease the Government land for salt manufacturer for a period of 20 years by invitation of tender and also resolving to renew the lease. 2.The issue in this writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in a batch of writ petitions in W.P.Nos.34859 of 2013 etc.,.

3.In view of the same, there is no necessity to make any adjudication further in this writ petition. Following the judgement stated supra, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
