Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to issue joint patta to the petitioner by cancelling the individual patta bearing No.3769 issued to the 5th respondent inadvertently by the 4th respondent comprising in Survey Nos.685/16 and 630/1 on the properties situated at Punnappatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, within a time frame as may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner, being aggrieved over the issuance of patta individually in the name of the 5th respondent for the land in Survey Nos.685/16, 630/1 situated at Punnappatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District, has submitted a representation dated 28.02.2022 to the 4th respondent, seeking issuance of joint patta by cancelling the individual patta granted to the 5th respondent. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition. 2/4

Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submits that the petitioner's representation was forwarded to the 3rd respondent by the 4th respondent and enquiry was also conducted by the 3rd respondent on 23.12.2022 and 03.01.2023. He further submits that the 3rd respondent would pass orders within a reasonable time.
3. Considering the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul, to conclude the proceedings and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
