ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to survey the property situated in old survey no. 857/2, new survey no.28/2 of Sevalur village, Manapparai Taluk, within Ward C, Block 6 within Manapparai Municipal Corporation limits, Manapparai Taluk,
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
4. According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to him by virtue of release deed executed by his siblings dated 14.08.2023. The Town Survey Land Register (TSLR) stands in the name of the petitioner. He has submitted an application on 05.08.2024, seeking survey of the subject property and the same has not been considered. Hence, a representation was submitted on 25.09.2024, reiterating the same request. The same was also not considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not produced acknowledgment for submitting online application. Hence, his request has not been considered.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to produce the acknowledgment for having submitted online application before the 2nd respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
7. On submission of the acknowledgment, the 2nd respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner and pass final orders on its own merits within a further period of eight (8) weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighboring land owners and other interested parties.
8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
