ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the second respondent to release a sum of Rs.2,02,548.00 (Rupees Two Lakhs Two Thousand five Hundred and Forty Eight only) due to the petitioner on account of encashment of his leave salary with 18% interest per annum.
2.Admittedly, the writ petitioner was an employee of Pudukkottai District Co-operative Milk Production Union Limited. The Co-operative Milk Production Union is the registered Cooperative Society and the Commissioner for Milk Production and Dairy Development is the functional registrar as far as the registered cooperative societies are concerned. Thus, the petitioner has to exhaust the remedy provided under the Act itself. W.P.(MD).No.14637 of 2014 authority for the purpose of redressal of his grievance by filing an appropriate petition in a prescribed format. In the event of filing any such application, the authority is bound to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.
3.With the aforesaid direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
