No.156 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.156 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur.

2. This matter has been referred before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Court. Before the Mediation, the parties i.e., the petitioner and the respondent amicably settled their issues and also executed a settlement agreement before the Mediation, on 26.10.2018.

3. In view of the above, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the proceedings in C.C. No.156 of 2018 before the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C. No156 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur, is hereby quashed. The terms of Settlement Agreement shall form part and parcel of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
