ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved by the impugned resolution of the third respondent, dated 20.05.2025.

2. By the impugned resolution, a no confidence motion moved by 13 Councillors has been recorded, pursuant to which a recommendation was made for the removal of the petitioner, who was serving as the chairman of the Manimutharu Town Panchyat.

3. Since the resolution has been passed against the petitioner, there is no scope for interfering with the impugned resolution passed by the third respondent.

However, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the third respondent that after the petitioner was removed from her post of Chairman of the aforesaid Panchayat, the post was declared vacant. Therefore, fresh election has been ordered to be held on 25.07.2025.

5. Under these circumstances, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
