The petitioner with a grievance that her husband and in laws are harassing her, has lodged a complaint before the respondent police and filed this petition, seeking police protection.

2. The issue involved in this petition is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her in-laws. The petitioner has to work out her remedy before the respondent police. In case, if the complaint of this petitioner constitutes any cognizable offence, the respondent police shall register a case, in accordance with law. For the matrimonial dispute, police protection cannot be provided to this petitioner.

3.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
