This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the first respondent to release the TATA Indica vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN-60-E-4667 seized on 23.08.2014 by the second respondent to the petitioner, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2014.
2. Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition and that the representation has been made as early as, in the year 2014, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the first respondent herein, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall dispose of the same within a period of four weeks thereafter, on merits and in accordance with law.
3.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
