ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to provide water tap connection and underground drainage connection to the petitioner's house property comprised in New Town Survey No.96/7, situated at New ward O(H), New block No.3, Varaganeri, Trichy City, on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 08.05.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents are always 2/4

ready to give water tap connection and underground drainage connection to the petitioner's house property on condition that the underground drainage pipeline will be laid in straight way, not in and around the petitioner's house property. He further submitted that if any difficulty to give drainage pipeline infront of the petitioner's house property, it is the duty of the petitioner to lay pipeline in and around his house and thereafter, the respondents will give the underground drainage connection to the petitioner's house property.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the entire process shall be completed by the respondents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 14.11.2024 Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No Sm 3/4
