ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application dated 14.03.2022 to the respondents, requesting them to survey his land. Since the said application has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, submits that though the petitioner has paid the required fee by Challan on 14.03.2023, he has not submitted the same along with the representation only on 10.05.2023. He further submits that there are certain objections from the adjacent land owners and therefore, survey could not be completed. 2/4

3. If anybody is objecting to survey the land, the Survey Officer has to proceed with the process of survey as per Section 10 of Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, by issuing notice to the objectors.

4. Therefore, the 3rd respondent shall conduct survey by issuing notice to the objectors and take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 04.08.2023 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
