ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to rectify the Natham UDR entries and issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, in respect of the property situated in Survey No.231/2B22, Thuvarankurichi Village, Ponnampatti Town Panchayat, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, by considering his representation dated 11.10.2024.
2.Heard the arguments of M/s.P.Kalaiyarasi Bharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned
Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, he purchased two acres of land in the above mentioned survey number under a registered sale deed dated 23.10.1996. Based on the said sale deed, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents seeking rectification of the revenue records. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.10.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of
a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
