This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing STC No.16 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Theni. 2.It is a case arising under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

3.The learned counsel on either side submitted that the issue has been amicably resolved. The cheque amount has been paid to the complainant.

Therefore, the continuation of the impugned proceedings would amount to abuse of legal process. In this view of the matter, the impugned proceedings are quashed. This criminal original petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
