ORDER

The petitioner is an accused and facing trial in S.C.No.11 of 2014 on the file of II Additional District Court, Tirunelveli. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the defacto complainant and abused him by referring his community. To quash the impugned proceeding, this original petition has been filed. 2.None appears for the petitioner on the last occasion. Hence, the case was posted under the caption 'FOR DISMISSAL'. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The contentions pleaded in the memorandum of grounds filed in support of the original petition do not contain any substance.
