Respondent/ Defendant Prayer : Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Family Court, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil to dispose of the petition in I.A.No.2 of 2022 in O.S.No.16 of 2020 at expeditiously as possible within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
2.The petitioners filed O.S.No.16 of 2020 on the file of Family Court, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil seeking maintenance. The suit was dismissed for non-prosecution on 17.03.2022. The petitioners applied for restoration of the suit on 09.04.2022 by filing I.A.No.2 of 2022. The grievance of the petitioners is till date IA has not been disposed of. 3.It is also stated that the respondent has filed counter in the Interlocutory Application on 17.05.2024.
4.The learned Family Court Judge, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil is directed to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
