ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.08.2014, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for assignment of the subject property.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the property in question is going to be allotted to Horticulture Department for the purpose of constructing a fruit research centre. The learned counsel therefore, submitted that the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered by the respondents.

W.P.(MD)No.14871 of 2014 the respondents, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. It is always left open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondents after identifying any other properties and the same shall be considered by the respondents strictly in accordance with law.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
