directing the second respondent to register the document of cancellation of sale agreement deed dated 27.03.2024 in respect of the property in Sy.No.143/1 to the extent of 17.50 cents (gphptpd;wp 1/32y; ghfk;) at Nanguneri Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that when he presented the document to cancel the earlier sale agreement registered in the year 2016, the same has been refused to register citing the letter sent by the Villupuram Economic Offence Wing/third respondent herein dated 10.07.2023.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, would submit that according to them, the petitioner have no way connected with the offence and hence, they have no objection to register the petitioner's document. The statement is recorded.

4. In view of the above, the impugned refusal check slip in Refusal Number RFL/Nanguneri/8/2024, dated 27.03.2024, issued by the second respondent is hereby quashed and the second respondent is directed to register the document presented by the petitioner within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. 19.08.2024 Index :
