************* [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM.,J.] Heard Mr.C.Gangai Amaran, learned counsel representing Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskarapandian, learned special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. 2.By consent of either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.The Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition designed as ''Public Interest Litigation'' stating that the sixth respondent has illegally quarrying rough stone in the lands comprised in S.No.729/1(part-I), measuring an extent of 2.00.0 hectares and S.No.729/1(part-2) measuring an extent of 3.00.0 hectares situated at Ariyamangalam Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, 4.In this regard, representations were given and one of the representation has been forwarded to the District Collector, Tirunelveli vide proceedings, dated 09.10.2018. It appears that no action has been initiated pursuant thereto. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. One S.
Chandrakumar, who claims himself to be the President of a Cooperative Society, had raised certain queries under Right to Information Act and from the reply furnished by the Information Officer to the Assistant Director of Geology and Mines, Tirunelveli District, it is seen that the sixth respondent has been granted permission to quarry for the period from 8.2.2016 to 7.2.2021. It is not clear as to whether the allegation against the sixth respondent is that he has illicitly quarrying rough stone in an area where licence has not been granted to him. 5.In any event, we do not wish to express anything on this issue, as we are disposing of the Writ Petition without issuing notice to the sixth respondent.
Since the first respondent has forwarded the representation of the Petitioner to the second respondent, we direct the second respondent to look into the complaint/representation of the Petitioner, dated 25.09.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands diposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
