This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2025 for disbursement of the salary encashing earned leave and unearned leave (on private affairs) standing in the credit of the leave account and amount in the credit of Special Provident Fund amount in the credit of the petitioner's account, in the light of the Judgment made by this Court in W.A.No. 1285 of 2019 reported in 2019 SCC Online Mad 1195 (2020).

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
