ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to impound the passport of the fifth Respondent, pending disposal of M.C. No.03 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi and the case in Crime No. 12 of 2012, on the file of the fourth Respondent police, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.08.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD].No.14938 of 2014 2.The petitioner, who is the wife of the fifth respondent, has filed a petition for maintenance in M.C.No.3 of 2012, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fifth respondent, in order to evade the proceedings in M.C.No.3 of 2012, is attempting to go abroad and therefore, she filed the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the second respondent to impound the passport of the fifth respondent.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the fifth respondent, after the filing of the writ petition, has not gone abroad and that he is very much available and is also appearing before the trial Court. He therefore submitted that no further direction is required in this writ petition.

4.In view of the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
