ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A3, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 IPC in Crime No.44 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant has rented his JCB with the accused persons for monthly rent of Rs.80,000/-. Thereafter, the accused persons failed to pay the rent https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.16108 of 2022 regularly. Hence, the defacto complainant asked the accused persons to return the vehicle. However, they also did not return the vehicle. Later, it came to know that the accused persons sub-rented the vehicle for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to one Raja. Hence, the case. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner herein is having five previous cases.

4.In view of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
