ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Petition is filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Spl.SC 1/3

No. 33 of 2024 on the file of Special Court in the cadre of District Judge for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Thanjavur in Crime No. 32 of 2023 on the file of Respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.

3. Considering the nature of allegations that in a brutal manner, in which, the victim child was subjected to sexual assault, this is not a fit case for to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Considering the fact that out of 28 witnesses, 7 witnesses are already examined. The Learned Special Judge is directed to expedite the trial and complete the same as expeditiously as possible in any event not later than four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
