By this writ petition, the petitioner has approached the Court, inter alia, to direct the respondents not to earmark Plot No.57A of Saravana Nagar, Paravai, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, in relation to an acquisition.

W.P.(MD)No.10519 of 2018 2.The respondents have filed a counter-affidavit through the second respondent, wherein it is stated that the lands in question are not included in the notification under Section 15(2) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001.

3.By recording the said statement, W.P(MD).No.10519 of 2018 is disposed of in view of the fact that the petitioner's apprehension of acquisition has proved to be misplaced. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P(MD).Nos.9613 of 2018 is closed.
